Through “help care” we provide all Americans with the option to age in their own homes rather than a nursing home by providing the help and support needed to live their best life. Imagine never having to make another appointment, drive yourself to the doctor, file paperwork, worry if you can afford your meds, be scared, alone or hungry. Welcome to Life Coordinated, we’re changing healthcare to “help care”.” – Nancy Everitt
Local Infusion Inc
Woody Baum
Local Infusion is a leading healthcare technology company focused on patients with chronic conditions on infusion therapy. Combining spa-like state of the art centers, with a proprietary technology suite, Local Infusion is changing the relationship patients have with infusion centers, moving them from transactional sites of care, to health care hubs able to holistically improve patients’ health. In doing so, it has achieved an industry leading patient NPS of 98.
RECENT MILESTONES
- Achieved $45 million run rate revenue within 18 months
- Expanded to 8 locations across 3 states within 18 months
- Raised a $10 million Series A round
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
“I started Local Infusion because I thought the existing companies in the industry were missing the mark. While they focused on increasing center count or lowering costs, I found very few were focused on improving outcomes/experience for patients. Furthermore, I saw an opportunity to transform the industry from a fee-for-service model to a value based care by introducing more robust tech capabilities and virtual / in-home care.” – Woody Baum
VantageHealth
Darby Brown
VantageHealth is a company leveraging state of the art technology and a century of expertise to consolidate, optimize and personalize patient communications to improve the patient financial experience. Our work goes beyond simply digitizing the existing patient billing process. Rather, we are reinventing the world of patient receivables. Our clients typically experience a 50% decrease in inbound patient calls, 30% increase in patient collections, and a 60% reduction in print mail costs.
RECENT MILESTONES
- Top line revenue growth of 300% in both 2022 and 2023
- Achieved highest net revenue in July 2023
- Implemented multiple features to enhance product optimization and results
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
“We built a great company in which we sat between providers and payers solving problems related to overpayments and underpayments using data mining techniques. I always felt that to really impact the cost of healthcare, the patient needed to be more involved in the Revenue Cycle and Payment Integrity process. Vantage’s big idea was to bring the Provider, Payer and Patient into the same platform. The opportunities to reduce administrative costs and improve care are pretty vast if this can be accomplished. We are proud to be on this journey and see real opportunities.” – Darby Brown

“Breastfeeding might be natural, but it’s not always easy. I started Blessed Beginnings because I had a deep passion for helping moms feel equipped and confident in feeding their babies. I wanted to help remove the doubts that can sometimes creep in when parents are worried about feeding their baby, while allowing them to remain in the comfort of their own home. Being self-employed also allowed me the flexibility to be fully present with my own children in their “growing up years”.” – Angela Lee
Psych Hub
Marjorie Morrison & Patrick Kennedy
Psych Hub focuses on mental health education and training, offering a platform that empowers both providers and consumers. The platform helps mental health providers stay current with evidence-based interventions and educates consumers about mental health, thereby improving outcomes and care quality.
RECENT MILESTONES
- Mental health literacy videos viewed 30 million times
- Trained over 22,000 mental health providers in evidence-based practices
- Recognized as one of Black Book’s “Top 50 Startups in Healthcare IT” in 2023
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDERS
“I founded Psych Hub on the belief that consumers of mental health deserve to be treated by providers using evidence based interventions to treat their symptoms. For example, we don’t treat depression the same way as addiction, however providers come out of graduate school as generalists. Psych Hub’s intention is to upskill providers to deliver specialized care, educate consumers on what to look for, and create a marketplace where consumers and providers can get matched.” – Marjorie Morrison
