About Chase Spurlock: Chase Spurlock, PhD, is Co-Founder and CEO of Decode Health, a healthcare AI company that powers an ecosystem of industry-leading diagnostic, pharmaceutical and technology companies to advance precision medicine. Decode is his second start-up focused on AI/ML in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Spurlock’s work has received continuous funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH/NIAID) and is widely published. He has earned numerous accolades, including Entrepreneur of the Year in the Nashville Business Journal’s 2021 Health Care Innovation Awards. Decode was recognized as the 2022 Emerging Healthcare NEXT Awards Winner by the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of the South and received his PhD in microbiology and immunology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Spurlock is a founding member of DataRobot’s healthcare advisory board and serves as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt and NYU.
