Leveraging Nashville’s Ecosystem for Improved Healthcare

In this episode of Friends of Project Healthcare…

Jonathan Bush explains the necessary tech layer consisting of Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) to accelerate the growth of digital and virtual first care solutions in the healthcare industry.

As an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in healthcare technology, Jonathan’s most recent venture, Zus Healthcare, addresses the market gap by providing the critical infrastructure to healthcare providers, more specifically the common record to machine read and build into products, which allows providers to offer better solutions without losing continuity of care for patients.

Jonathan Bush shares his insights about:

  1. Moving from SaaS to DaaS as an entrepreneur in the health tech space
  2. DaaS as a tech solution to reduce barriers to entry in terms of capital requirement for launching health ventures
  3. Nashville as leader in leveraging industry knowledge in new health ventures
  4. The pandemic’s acceleration of venture capital investment and the post pandemic landscape
  5. Zus Health as an enabler of innovation for companies challenging the traditional health industry models

This episode was captured at the HLTH conference in Los Vegas in November 2022 where Jonathan Bush sat down with Friends of Project Healthcare host and Project Healthcare Chairman at Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Eric Thrailkill.
