Nashville Entrepreneur Center Launches New Mini-Series of Circle Back Podcast, Hosted by NFL Legend Eddie George

“Circle Back, A New Stage” offers insight and stories from celebrities turned entrepreneurs

Nashville, Tenn. (Tuesday, August 24, 2021) –  The Nashville Entrepreneur Center (NEC), a non-profit dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and business leaders, has announced the launch of a mini-series for the Circle Back podcast called A New Stage. Hosted by Heisman winner, former Tennessee Titan, newly hired Head Football Coach at Tennessee State University and Nashville entrepreneurial legend Eddie George, the 5-episode series shares the stories from the best brand-makers in the world — celebrities that breakthrough in multiple industries and keep on building — and allows them to “circle back” to their entrepreneurial paths and take the listener on their journey to a new stage of business.

The series launched today and features soundbites, providing listeners a chance to hear what’s to come. George brings an incredible collection of celebrities-turned-entrepreneurs like Eli Manning, NFL Super Bowl champion, Kix Brooks, country music legend and others to share the unique ways they extended their brand beyond their sports or entertainment careers and more. Guests discuss navigating big challenges entrepreneurs face while enduring the added scrutiny of the public eye.

The mini series’ first episode, featuring Brooks, will premiere on Tuesday, August 24. He traces his journey from working pipeline jobs with his father in Louisiana to writing his first number one records with partner Ronnie Dunn and opening a first-of-its-kind vineyard in the heart of Tennessee.

Circle Back, A New Stage will showcase how celebrities develop and extend their brand into new chapters of their lives,” said Jane Allen, CEO of the NEC. “Nashville is full of celebrities and some venture into a new stage–entrepreneurship.  As one of the EC’s missions is to share the story of the local entrepreneurs, we believe it’s important to capture the stories and share with our community as there are always bits of wisdom we can all learn from. While some may know the “celebrity,” we hope these shows give you insight into another facet of each person and we do believe you will learn a few things and be inspired.”

Over the course of the mini-series, featured guests will discuss their own experiences and detail how they switched lanes from fame to business. For the next two months, listeners can expect to hear from a selection of celebrities representing various industries including John Rich, American country music artist and one-half of the duo Big & Rich, Michael W. Smith, three-time Grammy Award winning American musician and Cliff Goldmacher, Grammy-recognized songwriter, music producer and educator.

Upcoming Episodes Include:

  • August 24 | Kix Brooks, American country music artist & one-half of the duo Brooks & Dunn
  • September 7 | John Rich, American country music artist & one-half of the duo Big & Rich
  • September 21 | Michael W. Smith, three-time Grammy Award winning American musician
  • October 5 | Cliff Goldmacher, Grammy-recognized songwriter, music producer & educator

Circle Back, A New Stage is recorded and produced in the Chase Studio, the NEC’s newest on-site production space made possible entirely by community support. This new space allows creators the opportunity to craft world-class audio and visual content and share their own stories of growth, community, inspiration and perseverance.

Episodes will be released twice a month and can be found on all podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and TuneIn.
