This weekend, Nashville’s Fairgrounds will be buzzing with the vibrant energy of the Nashville Black Market’s Black History Month Expo! On Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th, the event will showcase Black-owned businesses from across the U.S., offering a unique opportunity to shop, support, and explore the creativity and entrepreneurship driving the Black community. This family-friendly, free event will feature vendors from all over Tennessee with some business even joining from other states!
The expo will include everything from food trucks to handcrafted goods, and interactive experiences like games, DJ installations, and more. It’s a perfect way to honor Black History Month while also enjoying Nashville’s rich cultural diversity.
A Special Highlight of the Event
Carlos Partee, the founder of the Nashville Black Market, will be there! Carlos, a proud Twendé Accelerator Alumni and 2024 NEXT Awards winner of the Hospitality and Retail Growth Award, will not only be sharing his passion for supporting Black businesses but will also be spinning some tunes during his DJ set at the event. If you can’t make it to the Expo, you can catch Carlos every Thursday on 91.1 WNXP as the co-host of Cashville Radio.
Don’t miss out on this weekend’s celebration of Black excellence! We hope to see you there as we come together to support, celebrate, and elevate Black culture.
