You might recognize Aabesh De, founder of Flora – that’s becuase he won the crowd favorite at our Panel & Pitch: Nashville Edition last year. He’s been up to a lot since then and just completed our 2023 InFlight program.
Since launching in 2022, Flora’s platform has quickly grown to 270k+ registered users and 150k in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
What are your big achievements since launching?
Thanks to my InFlight experience, I was able to practice and hone my pitch well over a dozen times, including mock pitches that helped me to eventually pitch on Shark Tank!
What, if any, significant moments came as a result from your involvement with the EC?
I cannot thank the NEC and InFlight program enough for the growth we’ve experienced the past year. It was through a connection at the NEC that I was able to connect directly with Home Depot’s Outdoor and Garden retail team, that eventually landed us a direct Vendor Agreement and supplier relationship with Home Depot for our physical plant sensor products!
What was your biggest takeaway from the program?
Definitely the founder camaraderie. I made lifelong friends and peers through my InFlight group. I was able to connect not only with similar B2C Founders, but learned tons of practical knowledge from peers in multiple different industries and verticals.
