Project Healthcare recently gathered to celebrate their 2022 cohort on April 28, 2022 at the program’s headquarters, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Lisa Esch of NTT Data, our official sponsor of the event, led our conversation with our keynote speaker, Austin Dirks. As an alumni of Project Healthcare, Dirks shared his success story of how he started by asking the front desk of the EC information about a co-working space membership to now – fast forwarding to five years later – where he successfully exited his business, GreenLight Medical.
“This is our first in-person showcase event for Project Healthcare in over two years, pre-pandemic. The energy is alive at the EC again,” shared Haley Combs, program manager at the EC. Project Healthcare hosted not only a showcase event, but a full two days of programming for our cohorts to connect and engage with other founders, investors and more.
David Dill, chairman and chief executive officer at LifePoint Health and chairman of the board at the Nashville Healthcare Council, opened the event by sharing how fortunate he and others are to “be a part of an incredible ecosystem (in Nashville healthcare). The Spirit of Nashville is collaboration and this ecosystem is the heart of it.”
